Analisis Hubungan Budaya Sekolah Terhadap Pembinaan Disiplin Siswa Menggunakan Metode Likert di SPSS (Studi Kasus di SMPN 4 Pariaman)

Objektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara budaya sekolah terhadap pembinaan disiplin siswa di SMPN 4 Pariaman, yang meliputi: 1) Nilai, dan 2) kepercayaan, dimana disiplin siswa dapat dilihat dari 1) tata tertib, 2) keteladanan, 3) pemberian bimbingan, 4) pengendalian perilaku dan 5) pengawasan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa di kelas VIII di SMPN 4 Pariaman yang berjumlah 111 orang. Sampel berjumlah 30 orang dimana diambil 25% dari populasi dengan menggunakan rumus dari Arikunto.
Material and Metode. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat korelasi, yang mengkaji hubungan antara budaya sekolah dengan disiplin siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket, menggunakan skala Likert, validitas dan reliabilitasnya diuji dengan SPSS versi 20.
Hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya sekolah berhubungan dengan pembinaan disiplin siswa, dimana budaya sekolah sebesar 78,03% dan pembinaan disiplin siswa sebesar 24,47%.
Kesimpulan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa budaya sekolah berhubungan dengan pembinaan disiplin siswa di SMPN 4 Pariaman. Semakin baik budaya sekolah, maka semakin baik pula tingkat disiplin siswa.
Abstrack
Objective. This study aims to know the relationship school culture to the student's development discipline in Junior Hight School 4 in Pariaman City views of 1) values and 2) confidence, while the student's development discipline can be seen from 1) school regulation, 2) the perfection, 3) guidance giving, 4) control behaviors and 5) controlling. The study population was all students in the second grade at Junior High School 4 in Pariaman City, the number of 111 people. The number of samples is 30 people were taken 25 percent from the population by using the Arikunto technique.
Materials and Methods. This research is quantitative research, which examines the correlation between the school's culture to students' discipline. The data collection tool was a questionnaire with Likert Scale models that have proven validity and reliability with SPSS version 20.
Results. The results showed that the school culture relationship with students' development discipline in both categories with a score of school culture (78.03%) and student development discipline (24, 47%).
Conclusion. The school culture has a relationship with the student's development discipline in Junior Hight School 4 in Pariaman City.
